High quality backlink is what you need

Links have been a key aspect of how search engines like Google determine the reliability of a website. They consider every link as a kind of recommendation. Hence, the website that has a higher number of quality links pointing to it gets higher credibility and rank.

Unfortunately, some SEO and website owners have resorted to questionable tactics to acquire links for their sites. Google, since then, has been releasing many updates to get ahead of such alternative link building tactics. Now, only ethical or “white hat” link building techniques are accepted by search engines. Here are ways to have high quality and legitimate backlinks which will assist in presenting a better image for your website in order to have higher ranks in the search results.

Guest posts

Guest posts are a good option for providing free content to a blog or website in exchange for which you receive a link back to your website. Such links can be used for citing information within the content body or placed in the “author’s bio” section. It’s a win-win for both the parties.

However, you need to work in a legitimate way when you are dealing with guest posts. Find appropriate websites with which you can set up a deal. There are many well-reputed industry publications which are worth trying. Narrow down your search and select them according to your niche.

Resource compilation

Most of the links that you build to your website will be from various informational pages and blog posts. These are traditionally made up of original content and have high effectiveness in building reliable links. If you do not have original research or content, you can use relevant research articles or journals as sources and provide a summary to the conclusions. Such articles are highly appreciated by users as they do not have to read the original write-up in full. It is highly recommended that the sources are mentioned as references. The objective here is to create value and give for free.

Broken link building

Even well-maintained sites experience broken link issues. Every link on a website basically links to another webpage. Due to frequent change in content by the websites, there could be a break of links to the webpage. When any user chooses a broken link, they arrive on a page stating that the web content does not exist anymore. This provides a bad user experience and makes it challenging for the search engines to crawl the websites.

Identify the broken links on various sites and find the web content that they referred to originally. You can then offer the website a chance to have a valid link to an authentic and relevant content in place of the broken link. Of course, the content will be displayed on your website. The site owners, this way, will have very few broken links. They will have more updated and useful content.
